Features

Visualise most raster file formats

RasterScope is based on GDAL and can read most of the popular raster formats (NetCDF, GRD, GRIB, HDF5, etc.)
Quickly view them by just selecting one variable. Switch between heatmap and filled-contour plots right from the toolbar. Heatmaps can be continuous or split into discrete colour bands.
Customise the plot by tweaking the default options in the right-hand Inspector panel.

Contours, vectors and overlays

Draw contour lines over any variable, with optional value labels.
Plot U/V vectors with adjustable density and scale.
Overlay point, line and polygon vector layers (Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML, GeoPackage, MapInfo TAB, etc.), reprojected on the fly into the raster's CRS. Polygons get separate fill and border colours.

Built for macOS

A fully featured true Mac app supporting multiple documents, restoring state upon relaunch, native controls, plenty of keyboard shortcuts, help tooltips when hovering on controls and support for Accessibility.
No external dependencies or additional installation. Everything is included.
